Like the weight class in boxing of the same name, Cruiserweight packs its punches—but they’re not quite the heavyweight division. They punch subtly, when you’re least expecting it—using soft female vocals, and then sharp, punky guitar. They’re songs are upbeat and spontaneous, and good to sink deep into and soak for a while. They’re a bit like a Blondie-influenced Green Day.
Their debut album, “Sweet Weaponry,” is emerging on the indie horizon, and to promote it they’re starting up a tour. Check out tour dates—and locations–here.
