Pitchfork defends

Glamour poked fun at Poole’s retro caveman look in the dos and don’ts section last week and boy, was Pitchfork pissed.

According to Pitchfork, rock stars should dress ridiculously. And, they argue, it’s one of the great things about of Montreal–that the band sports an unusual style that’s even worse than David Bowie and Little Richie and Madonna combined.

It’s all good if Poole wants to look like the Geico commercial on crack. It’s of Montreal, for God’s sake!

And, Pitchfork pointed out, Poole is a guy “whose boss rarely wears pants.” So please. Hold off the judgment.
