Good Old War graced the audience at SXSW with a new song. The accordion-heavy ballad, sweet and twangy, might be called “My Own Sinking Ship,” according to one poster on You Tube.
We’re not sure how Good Old War’s experience went at SXSW, but we do know what they hoped to get out of it. According to an interview they did with Make Major Moves, a weekly music blog hailing from Philly, they went for the “free booze and babes,” as well as the novelty of having “a savage tan.” We hope they were able to get everything they wanted.
