HIP Clip Wednesday: Kevin Barnes, of Montréal

Along with our “Magic Moment Mondays”, we’re introducing another new feature this week on our social media portals called “HIP Clip Wednesdays”! We’ve enjoyed the great honor and privilege of interviewing hundreds of bands and artists over our 13 1/2 years of doing business, and each Wednesday we will share one with you, as we open up our vast and deep HIP Video Promo vaults…

For our debut offering, we go all the way back to October 23, 2007. After promoting four videos already for the phenomenal of Montréal, the band visited New York City riding high on their first taste of commercial success. At the time we were promoting their charming “Gronlandic Edit” video, and no matter what market this band would visit on tour, it was always a sellout. Check out the man himself Kevin Barnes talking all about his band and their journey up to that point. We’re proud to say here at HIP that we’ve promoted 12 of Montréal videos to date (the most of any HIP client), with their 13th coming next month!
