Pearl Jam: Moving forward with “Backspacer”

Pearl Jam, one of the most influential bands to emerge in the 90s, is coming out with a new album! (First Dinosaur Jr., and now Pearl Jam? Too bad Nirvana isn’t around to put out a new record too, thus completing the comeback of the 90s!)

Titled Backspacer, it will be out in the fall. Due to a deal with Target, the album will only be available on Target store shelves, as well as small, independent record stores.

One of the first reviews of the album was done by Visions magazine in Germany. The reviewer says the album includes both raging anthems and cool, sweet ballads.

Pearl Jam is known worldwide for rugged rock that packs a punch, inspired by the classic and glamour band greats.
