Not only is Ardith Collins a talented cellist, but this intrical member of Double Breasted is also an accomplished songwriter 3/5	Likewise for Kristy Chruma! A pheonomenal harp player, Kristy is also a dynamo when it comes to writing compelling songs that exude tons of emotion 3/5	At Maxwell's in Hoboken, Andy didn't want to neglect his good friend Robin Borst, a big supporter of Andy's musical endeavors over the last 15 years 3/5
The eighth annual HIP Video Promo Tour finds itself in Austin, TX, ready    for four days of rock action! Andy's first show of this year's SXSW is Canada's biggest buzz band at the moment, Plants and Animals 3/17	Plants and Animals lead singer Warren Spicer whips up the crowd at the SXSW welcome tent during the Canadian Blast party during the first day of this year's SXSW 3/17	Launching into their video song, "The Mama Papa", Plants and Animals are an unusual trio in that there's no bass guitar within their intricate, intriguing sound 3/17
At one of the biggest shows during   this year's SXSW, one of the world's greatest buzz bands Metric takes the stage. Here Emily Haines greats the audience with enthusiasm and exuberance 3/17	All the way from Minneapolis, Minnesota, The Melismatics make a triumphant return to Austin, Texas and perform an electrifying set at   Lambert's 3/17	The Melismatics lead singer Ryan Smith, along with Pony, impress an excited crowd during their SXSW showcase at Lambert's in downtown Austin, TX 3/17

Jencey Hirunsrusme is as talented a keyboardist as she is a vocalist! Here she adds her sultry and sensuous voice to Smile Smile's big hit "Truth   On Tape" 3/18	The man behind the musical magic, Ryan Hamilton sells it to the large audience at The Troubadour during   the song "Beg You To Stay" 3/18	All the way from Oregon, Becca graces the stage at Anton's during the Sony International Networks big showcase featuring many of their top notch bands and artists 3/18
Though she may be small in stature, Becca has a voice that can only be described as a force of nature! Here she gets the crowd worked up at her showcase at Anton's 3/18	Becca's talented guitarist Rob Daiker adds the hard crunching guitar sound during Becca's rousing performance   of her first single "I'm Alive" 3/18	Karnivool's lead singer Ian Kenny is one of the most charismatic Aussies   to ever hit the stage. Here he leads   his talented musical outfit during their stunning performance at SXSW 3/18

Here she performs at her official SXSW showcase at The Parish on   6th Street 3/18	Be on the lookout in 2010 for a new band from Seattle called Hey Marseille. Here lead singer and principal songwriter Matt Bishop works the crow at the Chugging Monkey 3/19
Hey Marseille's talented accordian player Philip Kobernick adds a nuanced, sultry sound to Hey Marseille's compelling musical aesthetic 3/19	The biggest surprise for Andy at   SXSW was making the acquaintence of Seattle's next big thing, Hey Marseilles. Here they perform an afternoon show at the Chugging Monkey on 6th Street 3/19	Along with his musical kindred spirits, Hey Marseille's lead singer and guitar player Matt Bishop leads his talented comrades through a rocking set of upbeat, heart rending musical selections 3/19
Adding a palpable smoothness to the overall Hey Marseilles experience, talented violinist Jacob Anderson adds to the band's magic during their terrific performance at the Chugging Monkey 3/19	A big highlight of any musical happening is having the opportunity    to see Alabama's favorite sons,   Vulture Whale! Here guitarist Lester Nuby works his magic during the band's upbeat performance at the Creekside Lounge on 5th Street 3/20	Vulture Whale lead singer Wes McDonald belts it out during the rousing rendition of one of Andy's favorite Vulture Whale songs, "Sugar" 3/20
The man behind Vulture Whale is   their label president and all around good guy Travis Morgan from Skybucket Records. Andy always   make it a point to hang out with this excellent supplier of indie rock 3/20	Andy's thrilled to hang out with San Francisco's latest sensation Brittany Shane. Here Andy gets to hang out with Brittany and her talented drummer Rory Judge during a short lull in the action at SXSW 3/20	Mom and Pop Records is ecstatic to have buzz band Freelance Whales on their impressive roster. Here guitarist Kevin Read weaves his guitar magic during the band's phenomenal set at the Galaxy Room 3/20
Freelance Whales talented   keyboardist Chuck Chris adds plenty  to the Freelance Whales musical aesthetic during their well received SXSW showcase at the Galaxy Room on 6th Street 3/20	Check it out! It's our old pal Matt Pond PA performing an electrifying set at the Polyvinyl showcase at the Galaxy Room on a chilly Saturday night in Austin 3/20	All the way from Bergen, Norway, Casiokids guitarist Fredrik Ogreid Vogsborg revs up their manic, playful musical machine for an ecstatic crowd of Polyvinyl fans at the label's showcase at the Galaxy Room 3/20
Casiokids keyboardist Omar N’Dur works up an already enthusiastic, standing room only crowd at the   Galaxy Room during SXSW at the Polyvinyl Records showcase 3/20	Once again it's Andy's big "discovery" Hey Marseilles performing during their official SXSW showcase at the historic Saint David's Musical Sanctuary...Yes the band is performing in a church! 3/20	Though it might be an unusual venue for a band as ecclectic and unusual as Hey Marseilles, but as far as acoustics and overall performance, this may have been Andy's favorite show during his annual promo tour 3/20
