Rebecca Jade in the “Weather the Storm” video is a throw back of the 50 and 60s. This thought provoking and memorable single feature , “Weather The Storm” is exquisite. In it she’s expressing the loss of love and the heartbreak she’s feeling.

Rebecca has been described, by many, as having a chameleon-like quality to her voice, being able to deliver each song in a unique way. Without the slightest bit of hesitation she can deliver a variety of genres, but it is in the soul arena where he voice radiates. Her newest offering, A Shade of Jade, showcases the incredible depth and dynamic range of her voice. It’s a voice that induces a genuine feeling within listeners, and many have stated that she has the ability to transfer the emotion of each song to their own hearts.

Rebecca has opened for the likes of Boyz II Men, Erykah Badu, El Debarge, Wyclef Jean and the late Teena Marie. She has performed performed with Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, Gregory Porter,  Living Legend Norman Connors, Mindi Abair and DW3.  

The “Weather The Storm” video begins with Rebecca ready to board, looking stunning and enthralling in her early 60’s inspired wardrobe. A vintage Pan-Am Airlines bag is by her side for maximum effect. In between the in-flight scenes Rebecca provides a brilliant performance, pouring her heart and soul into every word she sings. With a heavy emphasis on the color and only selective colors saturated, this video is both classic and contemporary, striking a fine balance of eras.
