New This Week: “Colorado” music video from Milky Chance, plus new music videos from Shiragirl, Rich Chambers, and Bardastar

Labor Day Weekend is behind us and as we get closer to fall, the new music videos just keep on coming. The latest HIP Picks – Weekly Client Roundup is here; take a look at the videos, and learn more about the clips by reading below.

“Colorado” Music Video: Milky Chance (Indie / rock)

With their latest single “Colorado”, Milky Chance – the German duo who first established themselves with “Stolen Dance” and Sadnecessary – have designed the perfect indie-pop song for the moment. Directed by Vincent Sylvain, the “Colorado” video puts their distinctive personality on display with a wonderfully weird, unnerving, and subtly funny visual.

“Antisocial Media” Music Video: Shiragirl (Pop / punk)

From a makeshift stage at the Vans Warped Tour to an official stage supported by Kevin Lyman, Shiragirl has always been dedicated to giving fellow female musicians a place to perform. Current single “Antisocial Media” follows the Andi Underground EP (produced by Tim Armstrong of Rancid). Heather Ballish’s video for “Antisocial Media” puts Shiragirl front and center, spreading her message in a colorful, vivacious way.

“High School Can’t Last Forever” Music Video: Rich Chambers (Rock)

Rich Chambers’ songs strike a perfect balance between early rock and contemporary pop-punk. His latest single “High School Can’t Last Forever” could’ve scored a high school dance from the ’50s; in Rob McFayden’s clip, Chambers rocks out in front of a school, looking almost as if he’s plugged into the school itself.

“Wishing On A Star” Music Video: Bardastar (Hip-hop)

Bardastar doesn’t just talk the talk, this rapper walks the walk. “Wishing on a Star” opens with an angelic chorus from Rose Royce, and the video (directed by rbf_genius) shows Bardastar performing against the backdrop of New York City, sharing real, authentic moments of his life story.
