Lately here at HIP Video Promo we’ve been working with lots of great Floridian artists that are doing a bang up job of keeping the Sunshine State’s hip hop scene on the national map. Artists like Da Professor and Khaotic are making big waves with audiences, and today we would like to another artist to that list of exceptional talent; OSPO Black. Consisting of two Davidson College graduates Verbatim and D.White, OSPO Black is proudly and loudly chasing the dream of hip hop superstardom. Their newest video “Kotch,” from their Paradox EP, is a sweltering jam that is the perfect soundtrack for the upcoming summer party season!

The group has risen quickly in their scene, grabbing the attention of Seven13, who signed the duo to release their Paradox EP. It is a stylish and clever mash up of genres that effortlessly swings between styles, all while keeping the focus on the undeniable skills of OSPO Black. One standout track would have to be “Kotch.” Using a muted trumpet as the dominant voice to the track, this gem invokes a cool Latin jazz style, while laying down a palette for Verbatim and D.White to paint their picture on top. To go along with this killer track, a proper visual is a must, so the duo teamed up with Julian Walker at Kinfolk Collective to bring you the dope new video.

“Kotch” is a fiery combination of beautiful women showing all of the finest ways they can move their bodies alongside Verbatim and D.White spitting their rhymes to the camera. That is, when they can manage to take their eyes off of these wonderful women. Though these guys are some of the most confident crew we know, they’re mesmerized by these powerful ladies. But behind these beauties there may a more sinister side that doesn’t appear quite right. Off to the side lurks masked individuals who cast an intimidating presence upon the room. OSPO Black has to think long and hard about whether all of this is a good idea, but in the meantime, they sure are in for a wild ride!

We are very pleased to be working once again with Seven13 to bring you more of the hottest new artists bubbling under the surface. Please let us know what we can do to get your support for this video and very deserving duo!
