Hello programming friends, it’s Andy Gesner and the HIP Video Promo crew bringing you two knock-your-socks-off rockers from one of the most recognizable names in hard rock and heavy metal from the past decade; Trapt. From the breakout self-titled full length album, which featured the epic anthem “Headstrong”, all the way through their 2010 release No Apologies, the band has kept true to their vision of making the best damn hard rock music out there. These Los Angeles hard rockers have proved to be all-stars in the hard rock genre, sharing stages along with their contemporaries such as Chevelle, and Papa Roach as well slots of some of the most coveted tours like 2008’s Crüe Fest Tour with Motley Crüe, Buckcherry, and Papa Roach.

Trapt has always shown their own way of embracing the music video form. With conceptually rich and visually engrossing scenes, this hard rock band emanates a style of their own as they perform and leave fans wanting more. Several years back we heavily impressed programmers across the board with their clips for “Stay Alive” & “Who’s Going Home With You Tonight?” and it’s with much excitement that we present two of Trapt’s newest video clips that echo a multitude of classic elements that supports the band’s much-loved praise. Trapt’s sophistication has intensified over their years, and their latest video clip “Bring It” describes the dawning of a new era of music.

“Bring It” measures the eccentricity and the original energy that is bound to be released throughout tracks on the upcoming full length Reborn. “Bring It” displays the intensity and strong personal influences of the band’s roots. We are taken to the inside of workout gyms and boxing rings to find that bullying still exists within adult social settings. The song creates the empowering human emotion of courage, yet acts as a sedative for those in need of power boosts through strong guitars and forthcoming vocals. Frontman Chris Brown describes “Bring It” as “an F U to all those who say ‘you can’t,’ to anyone who has ever doubted you.”

“Love Hate Relationship” displays the temptations and the measures human beings go through in order to achieve sex. Taunting scenes of a love addiction entertain viewers and question certain actions we do for love. The song itself releases our most-loved sounds of Trapt’s raw energy with lyrics such as “I’m addicted to your touch, / you tear me down to build me up” and “Sex is just a weapon that you use to possess, / you keep me all to yourself.” The high-energy atmosphere keeps us wanting more as the story of a relationship that occurs for all the wrong reasons unfolds before our eyes.

Trapt’s commitment to their genre and other contemporaries is what makes their music so attractive. “Bring It” & “Love Hate Relationship” echoe the band’s timelessness and serve as previews for the highly anticipated upcoming album Reborn.
