When not recording sultry rock albums, Valley Lodge has also found time to tour Japan and serve as the house band for Triumph the Insult Comic Dog at the Bonnaroo Music Festival. With features in television programs such as Raising Hope, and Cougar Town, as well as commercials for GMC Trucks and Sonic, Valley Lodge is New York’s hottest ticket to full-on power pop rock music, especially in their latest clip “Kiss Me, I’m Drunk.”

According to the band’s bio, their third full-length album Use Your Weapons is a combination of inspirations by Cheap Trick, T. Rex, Thin Lizzy, and Big Star, infused with some Michael Jackson roots. Singer and lead guitar player Dave Hill and guitarist Phil Costello bring the heat to the table with their wildly entertaining musical creations. Rich with comedic satire and social commotions, the best qualities of the band stand out their eccentric music videos.

Their last video “Go!” featured a fierce bicycle race and before you know it, they are in hot pursuit of two beautiful Japanese women in traditional dress. The video was a comedic gem, and they’ve upped the ante even more with with their capricious music video, “Kiss Me, I’m Drunk.”

Like a beautifully rendered novella, “Kiss Me, I’m Drunk” tells a short tale. In the confines of a Western fable, the viewer is transformed to a time where stealing hearts resulted in duels, and life was lived inside of a raunchy saloon. Hill takes on adventure and mesmerizing love, turning this clip into a classy and defined love story. A must-see, the video blends classic wit and humor along with topsy-turvy satire. Oh, and of course the song itself is gushing with super-sick rock and roll sexiness!

Valley Lodge are at it again with this exciting new video from their full-length album Use Your Weapons.
