Hello friends, it’s Andy Gesner and the HIP Video Promo staff, encouraging you to open your eyes and ears to the delights of Chris Harrington and his generative music. Creating a musical collaboration can be tedious and somewhat overwhelming, which is why this genius of a musician has decided to take on the role of playing all instruments and singing in his own band—Virtual CH. Compared to the vocals of Rivers Cuomo and the undeniable riffs of Cuomo’s band, Weezer, Virtual CH stands alone on a stage, yet captures the sounds of all the instruments heard throughout his songs.

Each performance of Virtual CH is unedited in order to deliver a true, live band performance. With performances that include Harrington either on stage or on screen, this artist creates an atmosphere that emanates a strong sense of self-awareness. Previous to this new project he calls Virtual CH, Chris Harrington has released several different videos and recordings that include the acclaimed album, You the Provider. Currently producing records, music videos, and composing film at his studio called Clyde’s Coal Chute, Virtual CH is a representation of the all-knowing musician. It is clear that he is talented in almost every thing he dips his feet into, and the fact that he is willing to go beyond the norm makes him stand out as a valued musician with a charismatic personality.

Speaking of personalities, in his latest video, “Art is Out of Phaze,” we see all different sides of this artist’s character. Spanning through all different types of egos, Chris Harrington can be seen as a nerdy, bookworm and other types of personalities in his latest video; he is seen playing the drums, the bass, and the guitar throughout the scenes, and he also plays solo to a crowd of people on stage. This play on personalities and changing of attires employs the idea of human existence and the fact that we all own different sides of ourselves that can change in an instant. We may not know what to do with these personalities, but Virtual CH tells us what to do—play every instrument and start your own band!

Virtual CH captures the exploration and undeniable joy of making music, and it is our distinct pleasure to be working together to bring you this unique piece. If you need more info you can contact Andy Gesner and the HIP Video Promo staff at (732)-613-1779 or email us at
