Growing up on the streets of the westside Chicago is the sort of thing that can define a person. A neighborhood mixed with life’s ups and downs, even the most ambitious individuals can get swallowed up by the streets. In the case of Yung Stakks (Raynard Carlton) it seemed like he was destined to follow that narrative. Shortly after birth his father was murdered, leaving him to be raised in a single parent home. Fortunately for Stakks, his mother is an exceptional woman, teaching him the art of the hustle in order for him to do things differently.

Those lessons helped Yung Stakks develop a sound that is not your typical hip-hop sound. He doesn’t follow trends, and while many will spit rhymes about their immediate surroundings, Stakks tackles subjects from cultivation, politics, the state of music, romance, fashion, the struggles of life and even death. Stakks’ style can be described as hard, with substance, real, sharp, dark, gritty, against the grain but fly & flashy at the same time. Stakks has been releasing a lot of material on the underground scene including his collaborating record with fellow West Side Chicago Native & Bricksquad Monopoly Affiliate, “Bo Deal” titled “Problems”. Stakks is constantly releasing new music, including anticipated single “Stakk Money.”

The “Stakk Money” video drops Yung Stakks and his crew right in the heart of the Miami nightlife. He flashes his stacks and rolls with only the finest women, cars, and drinks at his side. Night turns into day and day fades into night, but the party never stops. Whether it be in the driver’s seat of the Rolls Royce, onstage with his favorite exotic dancer, or chilling beachfront on a palatial patio, the energy and excitement is cranked to the next level. For an artist who’s known not just for killer jams but also for one of the most explosive live shows in the scene this is a custom made opportunity to show off his skills and wildly diverse product.

We’re psyched to have Yung Stakks on board and are confident that this is a video and artist your viewers will dig in a very big way!
