Okay, okay, we’ve had a few rainstorms, but summer is closer which means so is festival season and all the great summer tours! Summer also means plenty of new music, whether you like in-your-face or laid-back. Here’s our latest HIP Picks – Weekly Client Roundup- take a look at the video above, and learn more about each clip by clicking on the links below.

“Used To Be” Music Video: Daniel Shaw (Pop, Indie)

With “Used To Be”, from the EP Cross The Line, Daniel Shaw has created a track that’s instantly emotional, reminding us of the people it may be time to forget. Director Daniel Marolla brings this feeling to life in the golden-lit clip.

“Perspective (feat B. Slade) DTLA-Pico Remix” Music Video: Sy Smith (R&B, Hip-Hop)

Los Angeles R&B artist Sy Smith has now released Sometimes A Rose Will Get A Remix, a remixed version of her album Sometimes A Rose Grows In Concrete. B. Slade adds his signature saucy vocals to the DTLA-Pico Remix of “Perspective”, and also directed the video alongside Alex DiMarco.

“Psykik Chemist” Music Video: The Cutthroat Brothers (Rock, Blues)

As is typical for The Cutthroat Brothers, “Psykik Chemist” – the second single off their debut email – is grungey, sludgey… and gory. Director Jack Saffle serves up live shots of the band, intermixed with clips of girl gang The Creeps.

“Sneakers” Music Video: The Inoculated Canaries (Rock, Pop)

New York City quartet The Inoculated Canaries know how to rock, and on “Sneakers,” – produced by the one-and-only Matt Squire (Panic! at the Disco, Ariana Grande, Taking Back Sunday, Demi Lovato) – they bring the horns. They directed the video themselves, and here we see a love story play out in real time.
