Gaslight Anthem

We saw this coming.
Gaslight Anthem has done a rocking cover of the Replacements’ song “Left of the Dial.”

Undoubtedly, Gaslight Anthem was influenced by the Replacements, a classic alternative band, who melded country, pop and punk into an irresistible, infectious blend.

Gaslight Anthem is also irresistible and infectious, and they inject punk-rock riffs and sonic pop in their overall sound.

View a video of the cover being performed live below. The camera often shoots from somewhere behind the audience, and you can see a bunch of digital cameras going up and down at all times. But that doesn’t mar their performance. Although the audience forms a pool around them, they always stick out pretty clearly, a whirlwind of energy and sound and stuff.
