New This Week: “No Goodbyes” music video from Wellingta, plus new music videos from Laforren, Stringz EMB, and Shaheed and DJ Supreme

All across the US, and on the other side of the pond too, our newest clients have exciting, powerful visuals to share this week. The latest HIP Picks – Weekly Client Roundup is here; take a look at the videos, and learn more about the clips by reading below.

“No Goodbyes” Music Video: Wellingta (pop)

UK singer-songwriter Wellingta brings back the sound of the most irresistible ’90s R&B with “No Goodbyes,” a love song to God and a statement of devotion and trust. The video was shot in the renowned Rivoli Ballroom in London – the only 1950s ballroom remaining intact in London, where stars like Tina Turner, Elton John, Oasis, and more have filmed music videos and live sets. It’s a visual metaphor for Wellingta’s career and the music she makes..

“Outsyder” Music Video: Laforren (rap)

Coming straight out of Stockton, CA, Laforren is looking to put his hometown on the map with smooth, seamless bars. He linked with producers across the country to refine his craft, and his new single “Outsyder” is a declaration of arrival. The video (directed by Johnny Hits) takes us sauntering through Stockton, taking in the lights and finding Laforren in the town square at midnight.

“Save Me” Music Video: Stringz EMB ft. KV the writer and Jay Marie (rap/pop)

St. Louis R&B/hip-hop singer and songwriter Stringz EMB has teamed up with KV the Writer and Jay Marie for his new single, “Save Me.” The song makes the desire for romantic connection palpable – but also signals the unreadiness for it. Miguel Orjuela’s elegant clip underscores and intensifies the song’s themes, showing a couple coping with the fallout of a stroke of good fortune.

“World of Water” Music Video: Shaheed and DJ Supreme (hip-hop)

Shaheed and DJ Supreme are sages of the hip-hop game in rhyme, wisdom, and generosity – and they’re also compassionate teachers ready to share hip-hop with new generations. “World of Water” showcases their heart for and commitment to their community, as the video (directed by Richard Giles) takes us to Birmingham-Souther College’s Southern Environmental Center and the McWane Science Center, as a rowdy crew of elementary schoolers are ready to soak in some science.
