New This Week: “Good Enough” music video from G Flip, plus new music videos from Mike Smiff, Andrew X, Paris King, Sonarpilot, and Nemesis

From Australia to the US, the UK to outer space – our new batch of videos come from all corners of the globe. The latest HIP Picks – Weekly Client Roundup is here; take a look at the videos, and learn more about the clips by reading below.

“Good Enough” Music Video: G Flip (pop)

Australian pop-rock artist G Flip is a powerhouse drummer, a charistmatic singer, and a talented guitarist. “Good Enough” comes from their new album DRUMMER. The “Good Enough” video (directed by Kyle Caulfield) sees G Flip and their band continue to rock, unperturbed, from day to night, sunny skies to storms.

“Go To Ya Head” Music Video: Mike Smiff (rap)

South Florida rapper Mike Smiff has been spreading his fame beyond the Sunshine State for over a decade. “Go To Ya Head” is a gorgeous production that epitomizes the emcee’s approach. The video (directed by Counterpoint 2.0) shows him in his element, so comfortable on the block that he practically defies gravity.

“Whatever It Takes” Music Video: Andrew X (pop/rock)

North Carolina singer-songwriter Andrew X is about to release his third full-length album, Driving At Sunset. “Whatever It Takes” is concepted around the gushing romanticism of classic ’80s movies, and the video (directed by Luke Pilgrim and Brad Kennedy) is a time-traveling dopamine hit.

“Jealousy” Music Video: Paris King (pop)

Raised by a Jamaican father and Celtic mother in London, pop artist and drag queen Paris King is unstoppable. “Jealousy” is a taste of what her upcoming EP may hold. The video (which Paris King directed!) shows off her infectious self-confidence, a chic drag flaunt and celebration of human expression.

“Kronos” Music Video: Sonarpilot (electronic/ambient)

Sonarpilot is the alter ego of producer/digital designer Michael Moppert. “Kronos”, from The Mirage Project, Season 2, features an elegant techno-dub soundtrack created by New York-based sonic wizard Brendon Moeller. It’s paired with a video created by fractal artist Roger Mader, exploring the idea of time.

“Vibe Flow” Music Video: Nemesis (hip-hop)

Born in Los Angeles and hailing from Oxnard, CA, hip-hop visionary Nemesis is one half of the duo, Pure Order, along with God’s Gift. Nemesis is sharing a statment of purpose – and an irresistible beat – with “Vibe Flow.” Directed by Jayson Vaughn, the “Vibe Flow” video is reminiscent of classic SoCal hip-hop videos – following Nemesis through Los Angeles and her neighborhood in Oxnard.
