Throughout middle school, Battles formed his very own hip-hop group, which lasted six years. He moved on to another music group, giving him style and momentum to begin his own musical career.

G. Battles learned to be diverse with his artistry and his personal approach to life, and thus created his own brand called Blak Hart in 2008.
