Bedük is one of Turkey’s leading musicians and also a leading voice of the youth. Highly contemporary with a modern edge, his influential music is captivating and noteworthy. HIP video promo is pleased to present the award winning new clips “It’s A Riot,” which is edited from anonymous footage shot during the riots in Istanbul, Turkey — and the club smash “Beatfreak,” which captures Istanbul’s party-centric night life. We’re given two distinct perspectives on life in one city… and the rich diversity of Bedük.

Since his first album Even Better in 2007, Bedük has been making a name for himself in the music industry. The release of his second album Dance Revolution in 2008 inspired music lovers from all over. The single “Automatic” from the album became an instant hit. The tune held the number one spot on radio and MTV, and that’s when Bedük became a musical phenomenon.

In 2010, Bedük dropped one of his most renowned albums, FUL. Colombia Records and Sony legal platforms emerged in Europe and America and the video for “Electric Girl” gained recognition from MTV, VH1, and countless others. For the past two years, his albums have consisted of remixes of tracks from his album Full House and has been one of Bedük’s most successful music projects—Facebook alone had over one million times the input and fan exposure.

His newest album Overload was released earlier this year and includes many fan favorites. “Beatfreak” is a sensational dance song that exemplifies the contagious art of dancing. This song has a collective balance of musical elements that make the tune great for any club atmosphere. This rhythmic beat will lure any type of music lover, and it combines a natural flow of culture and modern music. “Beatfreak” is fresh and contemporary and has every thing from neon lights to smoke machines, which director Thchane Okuyan had in mind from the get-go. It immediately brings you inside the club and by the end you will feel like you’ve been on the dance floor for hours on end.

The second clip for “It’s a Riot” was inspired by the continuing social upheaval currently happening in Turkey. The video is comprised of actual footage from the protests in modern Turkey and serves as an eye opener for many Western audiences who until only recently have largely been kept in the dark about the severity of the situation. Scenes of a revolution take place and Bedük’s lyrical and rhythmic ability serve as a great backing track to these realistic travesties. His music promotes peace, love, and happiness, and that is just what this song is about. Making people aware of contemporary affairs is one of the most basic things a musician can do, and thanks to Bedük’s clip “It’s a Riot,” the world has one more thing to be thankful for.

Cultural diversity is at its peak in the world, and what better way to celebrate this wonderful aspect of the world than through music? Bedük is a world-renowned musician, bringing inspiration and peace to every corner of the world.
