Smile Smile’s album “Marry a Stranger” released on August 14th

It’s been a rough road for Jencey Hirunrusme and Ryan Hamilton of Smile Smile, but these two indie stars from Dallas have proved themselves worth of the folk/indie rock scene. With the release of Marry a Stranger, which was presented to the world last Tuesday, Smile Smile has showed fans a beautiful and mature piece of work.

Marry a Stranger contains melodies that are lilted, but also upbeat. Many of Smile Smile’s songs contain catchy hooks that cannot be denied. Although the love between these two (having been engaged, then broken up) is on the rocks, they continue to create music that is heartwarming and delightful; the album foreshadows the sonic direction that Smile Smile is headed, and HIP Video Promo looks forward to every step they decide to take in the process.
