Premiere: Beaux Cheveux HIP Spotlight

In 2015, Adrian Conner and Clementine Bonzo began trading audio files from San Francisco to Austin. Mixing electronic textured instruments and the guitar and monster drums of 70s rock, long distance songwriting has worked in their favor and the trippy, dream-pop style that is Beaux Cheveux was born. We first teamed up with the group to promote the video for “Deeper Feeling”, the first single off their debut album Ro Sham Bo, last fall; this was followed by “Free Love” and most recently, “Rio Grande”!

When the HIP team was down in Austin for SXSW, we had the chance to film several HIP Spotlight interviews, including this one with Beaux Cheveux!
